Share Your Swaps/Hosts

Hi, First of all this will be a month long swap. You won't mail your items to your partner until the beginning of September.

For this swap you must participate in at least swaps in the month of August, more would be great as it will create a nicer mailing for your partner. I will check profiles and if you have under 5 swaps in your "Currently In" list then I will a) PM you to ask you if you have other swaps in your Watchlist that you are joining for August and b) if not I will have to take your name off the participant list for this swap.

Now are you curious as to what THIS swap is all about?? HAHAHAHA

For this swap you will have one partner. You will mail that partner a copy of each swap you join for the month of AUGUST and the name of the swap host that held the swap.

So for example if you joined a postcard swap, you will set aside a blank postcard for your partner and in a letter explain what you are sending, the name of the swap and who hosted it.

If it was a traveling postcard swap, you WON'T send them an actual traveling postcard... you would just send them a blank postcard.

So does that explain how the swap is going to work?

If you are involved in a more intense swap like something arty like ATCs or the like, you could enclose a picture of what you make. You wouldn't have to make a new one.

Tea swap... Send a Tea bag

Traveling anything.... blank unused version (not a notebook) like postcard, letter set, notecard....

You get the picture right??

So Rules Recap:

Must have 5 or more August Swaps.

Send a "copy" of the swaps to your partner using the example above.

Write a short letter/note explaining the name of each swap, the host and what you are sending.

Make sure your swap ID and this swap's Title is on your letter somewhere. (or on the package)

Do not mail until the beginning of September, even if you complete 5 swaps in the beginning of August, (UNLESS you meet the requirements below in the UPDATE) this is supposed to be a month long swap.

UPDATE: IF YOU HAVE 13 OR MORE COMPLETED SWAPS BY 8/20 YOU CAN MAIL YOUR PACKAGE/MAILING A BIT EARLY. IF YOU ONLY HAVE THE 5 REQUIRED, DO NOT MAIL YOUR PACKAGE UNTIL SEPTEMBER, THIS WILL GIVE YOU TIME TO JOIN MORE SWAPS IF YOU WOULD LIKE.

Since this is a more time intensive swap I am labeling it a Type 3.
