For this swap, you will send one partner 6 random washi samples; again, this swap is senders choice. Senders, please be sure you’re sending out a decent length of tape! 12-18 inches, minimum! Two of the super thin/narrow tapes = one sample!

I can angle if needed. No recent (6mos) 1’s or 3’s :(

Hello, I'm new here and just recently I sent my first swap so I'm expecting a rate soon. But I wanted to ask first if I'm able to join, even though I'm new?

By thin so you mean narrow?

captkristi 10/12/2021 #

Can you please specify the length? I have gotten samples that were literally 6 inches long. Some people might think that's a "decent" length and there won't be any reason not to rate them a 5 if it's not specified. Just a thought.

captkristi, what would say is a decent size?

When I host I generally require somewhere between 12 or 16 inches depending on what the swap is. If there's other items being sent I would say a foot is good. Washi only swaps sometimes require 18 to 24 inches. BoniJam there's nothing saying no to newbies OR a rating requirement so I am betting you can join!! It's so exciting when you are new - also hard to get into swaps and show you are trustworthy. but worth the effort.

What is super-thin tape width? Thanks!

HelenG6 10/13/2021 #

Forget it, I'm not in U.S.

I would think 18 inches is what to shoot for for each sample size. 6 inches is ridiculous! You cant even do an envelope flap with that!

Sorry guys! I’ll edit the swap for clarity!

@BoniJam I’d love to have ya!
