Here is the challenge I give to you... Create a snail mail craft kit for a partner using the theme: Happy Mail! Yes the pic is from Swap-bot 2013...but what a great idea right! So let's create a snail mail kit for a fellow swap-bot user!! What is Happy Mail for you? What would you like to receive in a kit? Here are some ideas: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LCv8HIC56gk http://sandeepbeep.com/snail-mail-kits/ There are many more "snail mail kit" ideas out there if you google. I don't want to put up etsy ideas or those for sale, they are for sale for a reason, but you can get ideas on how to package from them and maybe buy yourself or a friend a kit to support them......but moving on.... Here are some things you could include: β’ stationery sets (2 sheets of paper, 1 envelope) β’ postcards (2 minimum) β’ decorative erasers (2 minimum) β’ pencils ( 2 minimum) β’ mini sticker sheets (2 minimum or 10 loose) β’ decorative note cards (blank inside minimum 2) β’ decorative sticky tabs (at least 5) β’ mini-envelopes (minimum 2) β’ origami paper ( minimum 3) β’ vintage ephemera such as stamps (at least 5 cancelled or 2 regular), game pieces (5 minimum), maps, and coloring pages ( at least 2 minimum) β’ confetti! β’ fun surprises like pins, mini-rulers, stencils, mini stapler, etc Ribbon (12" minimum) Washi tape on a wax card (at least 3 wraps around card) Stamped images (at least 3 nicely done) Gems (at least 6 small or 3 large) paper flowers (at least 3) Pick 6 different items from the list and if something isn't listed feel free to add it (all minimums shown but you are welcome to send more) to send your partner. You will have one partner to send to, this way you can focus on making them a nice kit. Package this as you would want to receive (you don't have to individually wrap everything, but that is up to you), do not put your items in an envelope and send. This needs to come as a "kit" and have a topper on the bag. You can put these together before the send date as this is not profile based. Send what you would want to receive! Include your name and swap name on envelope and a little note inside. If you do not put your name and swap name you may not get credit for this swap. I check profiles before assigning partners. No recent 1s or 3s without an explanation. I will angel if you contact me and let me know you didn't receive. Newbies are welcome with a well filled out profile. Contact me if you have any questions. Thanks for looking over my swap and I hope you'll join |
