Ahhh, how we love binder trading cards! Let's make one of these slim beauties using a couple of Allen and Ginter (vintage cigarette cards) illustrations...one on each side. They are so pretty, and lend themselves beautifully to our small works of art. Pick two (Pinterest is my go-to for images and illustrations), and decorate each side beautifully. Remember that both sides of a binder trading card are decorated. They are 3.5 inches long (just like an ATC), but only 1.75 inches wide. It is considered not only acceptable, but desirable to have embellishments that protrude over all sides...and of course, there's a hole punched in the top left of the front side, so it can be hung from a binder ring (ergo the name "binder trading cards"!). These are easy to display, and all the pretty stuffs poking out over the sides and bottom make them very decorative! |
