Altered Rolodex Card Introduce yourself.

For this swap you will alter a rolodex card, the subject is all about you. Let's make two of them, one for each partner. On the front pick something you like to do, somewhere you like to go, someone you love or admire. On the back lightly decorate and include the name of the swap, your swap-bot name and address. Paints, papers, buttons, ribbons, fibers, chipboard....let your imagination run wild.

The size will be 3" x 5" if you do not have rolodex blanks use cardstock or an index card. Please do at least a double layer of rolodex card or whatever your base is. Particularly if you are using any heavy embellishment. The card should stand up in the holder not flop over. If you are not using regular rolodex cards, you do not have to cut the slots in the bottom of the card the receiver can do that to match their holder. If you do not have a holder yet...go ahead and sign up and try it to see if you might like it.

Imagine a wheel of art in your creative space ready to inspire you. Rolodex cards have become the next best thing to trade because they are easily displayed on rolodexes. While rolodexes may have become rather obsolete for their original purpose they offer an excellent way to display tiny pieces of art. There are the big wheel type of card holders and also the type that sit flat on a desk (flip type). We will be trading the large format rolo's which are 3" x 5". When you get your holder make sure it is for this size and not the smaller size.

I will be checking profiles. No unexplained no sends. New people must have a completed profile. If I feel that there is any question about you being able to complete the swap I reserve the right to ban you from the swap. This is done in the interest of the group swapping. This is International as it will be light. A letter like this should not cost more than $1.00 to $1.50 to go international. Depending upon embellishments used.
