CF: Autumn Paper Quilt Card

This swap might become a group tradition, as this is the fourth year I’ve hosted this fun, easy swap.

Technique recap:

Cut up a bunch of Autumn-colored/themed paper strips. You can use one width, or several different widths.

Adhere the strips side by side to a piece of card stock (see tip), trimming the ends flush with the edges as you go or afterwards. (Tip: Adhesive paper or large labels are a great alternative to a surface for the strips - it saves not having to glue or tape each strip down.)

Adhere this layer onto a folded card base.

Your strips can go diagonally, horizontally, vertically - however you choose. It's optional to add background layers, embellishments, and/or a verse, quote, word or saying. Sometimes the cards look nice just as they are.

Please add a little note inside the card to your partner. It can be about anything you want (your day, an upcoming fall event you are going to, the weather, etc.).

Lastly, please add a strip or two of fall themed paper (or washi tape) to give your envelope some happy fall decor.
