Returning participants: You will have received a booklet from the last round and decorated a page in the booklet. Send it to your partner. When you receive your booklet, decorate the next available page. Hold on to the booklet for the next round. Carefully unfold the booklet. Add your swap-bot username and your email address on the back of your page. You can add more info if you would like, for example a description of what you created. Use pencil, or ink that doesn't bleed through the paper. New participants: Make a 1-page booklet using a sheet of letter size 8.5"x11" paper. The paper should be sturdy enough for gluing. Please do not use a sheet of glossy/slick paper, most glues don't stick well to glossy paper. It will be an open theme journal. Subsequent participants may take cues from your cover but they don't have to. Decorate the cover and back page. There will be 6 pages for 6 swappers to decorate. Example of a Go-Round 1-page booklet In order for the filled booklet to be returned to you, you will need to write your Swap-Bot username, and email address on the back cover page (and your mailing address if you want to). You can also put it on the inside cover page (for good measure). Established Mini Art Journals Participants can decorate one page. Decorate it how you wish--draw, mixed media, paint, glue-book-style, etc. No bulky embellishments please because we need the final journal to be regulation lettermail thickness -- 1/4" or less. Also, we must be able to unfold the one sheet journal, so we can leave information on the back of our decorated page, and it can be unfolded and scanned/photocopied. Glue your page carefully. Save the booklet you receive for the next round. Eventually, when the book is full it will be returned to it's original owner. If you receive a last page MAJ please say so in the comments section. Fill the last page and mail it to the creator of the MAJ. Note: Always send a MAJ on even if you decide not to participate any longer. At the very least, send it to me the coordinator @9o96o (PO Box 31013 Willowwest, Guelph, Ontario N1H 8K1, Canada) and I will keep it in play. That way everyone should eventually get their MAJ back. If you get a last page MAJ, fill in the last page and mail it to the creator of the MAJ and make a new MAJ to send to your partner. The goal is to have each space filled out by a different artist, and then sent home to the originator. If you are assigned the MAJ originator as a partner, or your partner has already filled a page, do not send them the MAJ, start a new one. But hold onto the other MAJ for another round so can get it circulating again. If you don't think you'll be participating in more rounds, send the MAJ to me and I'll keep it/them circulating.
