YTPC: File Folder Pockets US

Hi swappers!

Let's follow along with Tina in THIS video to create 2 file-folder style pockets for our partners.

We'll be creating 1 holiday pocket and 1 sender's choice pocket (which CAN be another holiday pocket, if you choose).

The only limit on size is that you pockets you create must be no smaller than 3"x5". Let's set the maximum at 5"x8". So . . . any measurements between those two are just fine.

We're going to be making the pocket-style file folders shown where the sides are either glued or sewn. We're also going to fill the pockets with a few goodies for our partner to use.

Sometimes, Tina has the file tabs on the FRONT of the pocket. In my opinion, the tabs look more 'natural' if they placed on the BACK of the pocket. Feel the same? Just fold and cut so the back of the pocket has the tab. If you like the tab on the front . . go for it ;+) And remember: Your tab piece can be a completely different piece of paper or fabric than the rest of your pocket. Remember to embellish the front in some way, too.

Be creative in your choice of papers and fabrics.
