This is a good scrap buster swap. We are going to use a paper quilt technique to make our partner a paper craft of some sort. It is sender's choice of what to make, colors and theme of the crafty item. There are many, many ways to make a paper quilt. Look on Pinterest and YouTube to find examples and different quilt patterns and cards using the quilt patterns. There are also dies out there that you could use as well if you have them, but you don't need them as you will see on the tutorial below. You can use any of these methods to make your partner something with a paper quilt, ie. a card that is blank inside (it is not required to send an envelope if you make a card), ATC, journal card, tag, MemoryDex etc. Here is just one tutorial showing you an option of how to make a paper quilt card CLICK HERE. This tutorial is just for an example to give you ideas. You do not have to follow this tutorial or make a card. If you have any questions, please message me on swap-bot rather than leaving a comment below as I will see that faster. NOTE: Picture is of a card using a paper quilt pattern technique that I found on Pinterest and has the watermark of the creator who made it. |
