Don't judge a book by its cover!
Oh, well, but isn't that what we all do, when browsing through a cozy bookshop trying to find a new book to read? And isn't the cover of a book like a first view into its story, the hook we're on at first sight? I for me have to admit that I enjoy to get inspired by book covers and really love a good cover design.

For this swap we're going to create a book cover ourselves and send it to our one partner along with a brief summary of the story and some good to know facts like the genre and target audience. Maybe you also want to add a short excerpt - but that is optional.
The book we choose can either be a real book we have read or a story we make up ourselves.
The work of art should be an original by you but it can come in any possible way to make art (drawing, painting, mixed media, collage, created with a computer programme for design, whatever you like).

The artwork has to be dinA5 size minimum, good quality (especially important if printed out) and it should contain all the typical information you usually find on a book cover (author, title) - publisher and type of text are optional. I'll give you a few weeks time after partners are assigned, because it might be a little time-consuming. But you can also start ahead of time, as this is sender's choice.

And, who knows, maybe we find ourselves a new book to add to our collection. :-)

Recap
One partner
One work of art of sender's choice style (DinA5+, containing author and title)
Summary of the story in the book (real or imaginary)
Additional info (genre, target audience,...)
Optional: excerpt, additional information on characters or anything you find important about the book or story, ...

Happy Swapping! :-)
