You know it's coming...at some point. Spring! And with the new season comes some of the birds that are synonymous with spring...a partial list gleaned from my friend Google is (of course) the American robin, red-winged blackbirds, tree swallows, and several more. Bear in mind that the first birds of spring depend very much on where you live. So let's each make 3 twinchies, each featuring one of the first birds of spring in YOUR area of the world! We all know (but do we? I shouldn't assume) that twinchies are 2 inches square, and that they are made from the same sort of cardboard that we use for ATC bases, such as cereal or cracker boxes. It's poor form to just stick on a sticker or two, or to attach a lonely simple image, so let's not do that. Embellish these the same way you would embellish an ATC; this is a great place to use your smaller embellishments. Please cover the backs with pretty paper, so that no bare cardboard shows. I hope you have a wonderful time creating these tiny pieces of beauty! |
