Description:

Lately I've joined quite a few drawing swaps as well as sharing your day or thoughts etc kind of swaps so I wanted to bring the 2 together.

"My Life in a Month"- June Edition Hopefully if this picks up we can do it as a monthly, 2nd monthly or quarterly thing. Yes it will be International, as being from Australia myself practically 99% goes international for me.

HERE'S HOW THIS SWAP WORKS:

Option 1: Get a 60-75page notebook (like the type they use in school classrooms. These have no spines, are soft and have a middle page showing all stapled together if that helps to explain) 60 pages will work if you feel you won't write more than a page (page and a half max) as other page or half if you write over is for your little art. 70/75 page gives you extra if your daily story will be more than a page or you want to share quotes, recipes, poems etc with your story and artwork. -Fill it out over a month. Everyday you can state what you did in your day, something that happened, a book you are enjoying, maybe a new recipe you tried or just want to share. Maybe you have past memories on this day. Even if your day was a "bust", just state nothing happened and maybe share a quote or a poem, or if you are reading- a part in the book you enjoyed, something you are watching on Netflix or YouTube or any other place. Choice is varied and up to you. It's your Life in a Month, Therefore your story to tell. - Page 2 is for your little artwork of your choice. You don't need to be an artist (I'm definitely not), it's just a little fun to share something. It can be a drawing, a collage, a little painting, some sticker flakes you want to pretty the pages with, mixed media, or fancy writing art. Again so many endless choices -Your goal should be to fill a page/pages every day. Do not join this swap unless you can commit to at least doing an entry every day. We all know life happens so if you miss a day just make it up. (I know that could possibly be me with a 15month old) -The goal is to work on this notebook/ monthly entry every day throughout the month but have fun too.

If you choose the extra pages writing book and have blank pages at the back, that is fine as long as you've done your daily page/entry. You can leave them blank or do anything you want.

Option 2: If you would rather use loose paper that is also acceptable as long as all papers used are the same size (if one is A4 all need to be that size), paper is nice and good condition or you have nicely decorated the pages and all goals stated above are met.

Requirements Reminder: Minimum one-page written or typed letter (if nothing happened that day, share about the book you are reading, a quote, joke, think to yourself 'what would I be happy with for a quiet day entry'.

Dont forget to add your art for each entry. A blank page or sketch paper would work best and if you are using the book you can stick to the page or just use the page if you prefer. Colour isn't a must but if you wish to, why not :) Afterall who doesn't prefer colour in their life!

Newbies more than welcome - after all, we all need to start somewhere.

Is there a size requirement, in other words would pocket journal work, or would you want something bigger?

I was thinking more on the lines of A4 but if you are willing to do pages equivalent to one A4 page then I don't see an issue. Just remember that you need to do some kind of artwork too

Thankyou to everyone who joined to make this happen
