Welcome! Please note that this is an international and inclusive swap. I kindly ask that you read the description before signing up as it may deviate from the rules of other swaps. Thank you! For this swap, you will have one partner to whom you will send a postcard. You will receive a postcard from another partner. Take a postcard and write down 5 songs (or more) that you enjoyed listening to in the month of November. Jot down your username and the swap name somewhere. Add a postage stamp and mail the card to your partner before the deadline. The swap is sender's choice, meaning that you send what you want without it having to match your partner's taste. This way we get to check out music that we may not have paid attention to otherwise. Please rate your partner fairly. If you receive a postcard with at least 5 songs, rate them a 5. Feel free to give a heart if you like to do so. Newbies welcome with a filled out profile. No unexplained recent 1s and 3s. It's best to have explanations on your profile already as I will check details. As mentioned above, this swap aims for inclusivity. That means that we try to find accomodations for people so that they can participate and join the fun. You are most welcome to join • if you can't write by hand. Have the text printed out or written by a helper instead. • if you can't afford the postage. Message me and I will cover it (lightweight flatmail only, I can't cover package costs). • if you don't have fancy stationery. There are other ways to make mail nice. You could include personal stories, a poem, doodle, stickers, use various colours... I believe in your creativity. Thus, handmade postcards and ad cards are allowed here as well as store-bought cards. • if you have limited speech, struggle with making full sentences. See the above alternatives. • if you might miss the deadline due to chronic illness, disability etc. If you realise you can't make the deadline, let your partner know and ask how long they'd be willing to wait (If you're anxious, message me instead, let me know who your partner is and I will talk to them for you). If you still can't make it, I will angel. These accomodations are for people who need them. I recognise and ban scammers. If you have an accessibility need that was not considered, do get in touch. If you are in the position to cover another swapper's postage and would like to volunteer, I'd appreciate it greatly. I am trying to build a more inclusive, supportive community, but my funds (and spoons) are limited. Thank you for reading, Happy swapping! |
