Description:

Week of December 1. Sometime the week of December 1-7:

  • Look through or intentionally collect some ephemera from your holiday preparations. (Receipts from shopping, clippings from sales, shopping and to do lists, wrapping paper...
  • Either construct a new envelope from a a single piece of paper that is suitably large and sturdy – OR – decorate an existing envelope with pieces of the week’s findings.
  • Appropriate size: minimum of 3.5” x 5”, maximum of 6-1/8” x 11-1/2”
  • Sign your envelope with your user name and the date. (myself, I will use the envelopes for future swaps, so recipients should definitely know who made them.)
  • Include information identifying the swap. (Swap title. To. From.)

I can’t require hearts for swaps, but personally, I consider a couple, three line note sharing something about the source or reasoning behind the materials used, or what’s going on in your life this week, or a favorite quote as β€œextra” and heartworthy, and I hope fellow participants feel the same.

Group requirements apply. Message your host with questions or explaining recent blips on your profile.

You must belong to the Make an Envelope Group in order to join this swap.

If you use receipts make sure you cut off personal information before using it on envelope.
