While I prefer reading books in their original format, sometimes it's cool to pop in an audio book while I'm driving on business trips or spending time waiting for a flight at the aiport. Audio books are so $$ and I haven't had much luck finding them secondhand (although, occasionally I'll score a good one on paperbackswap.com). This is a US/Canada-only swap (please feel free to start an International version if you wish). Since we don't have a way to assign partners manually, you must be willing to receive audio books on either cd or cassette. Abridged or Unabridged is fine (personally I prefer Unabridged; but we can't be too picky). Check to make sure that your cds and cassettes are all present and in good working order. Case and artwork is a must -- but wear and tear to the cover is expected and ok. This is sender's choice, although if you have a large selection -- please take a look at your partner's profile to see if you have something that is a good fit) Swappers must have a 4.7, or higher, rating with no no-sends in the past 6 months.

Is it okay if the boxes the tapes/cassetes are not in the greatest shape as long as the actual reading media is in good condition? some of the boxes of my collection of audio books got crushed by the kids when I had them in the car while I listened to the book. Kids could care less about what they step on in the car . hehe, especially the little kids. gotta love 'em tho right?

I recently aquired quite the colection of audio books on cassette from BookMooch, I think I got all the best ones they have there and unlike Paperbackswap they are only 1 point instead of 2, so I have like this huge collection and I am willing to swap 2 for 2 if my partner is, too... Or, just one is OK. I will more than likely have something to suit his/her tastes akthough it would help if he/she has a penchant for horror audio books, cuz I got a lotta those, too. heh Well, great idea for a swap!!
