Description:
This is my first time creating a swap.

I'm going to copy an idea I saw.......... reusable shopping bags. My husband an I were talking about how we need to start using them. That day I got one from a swap partner. So, I decided to try my hand at creating a swap for them. You will have 1 partner and you will send them 2 bags. They are everywhere, and inexpensive! It would be nice to send ones that don't have huge noticable store logos on them (like wal-mart). Target has their logo on them but they usually have more interesting designs. Regional stores would be kinda neat too. Or buy one that is plain and decorate it for your partner (look at their profile). Handmade ones would be neat too as long as they are strong enough to carry groceries. Don't forget you can always throw in extras. Maybe you'll get hearts. To qualify for this swap: NO FLAKERS! DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will be checking your profiles . I will ban anyone who even looks suspicious to me. I'm still kinda new here and I've been flaked on a few times already. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Newbies welcome if their profile is totaly filled out. YOU MUST send ON TIME too! If you can't then PLEASE contact me and your parther ASAP!

I'm making this a US only swap. I love international swaps but I just can't afford to send things overseas. Usually the postage is more than the items I send.

Hi! I just joined...I almost missed this one! After watching some shows lately about Earth Day I am so on board to do my part. This sounds like fun and inexpensive as well! Fun swap!

Michaels has really cute summer themed bags of this sort made of oil cloth only $2. The BEST bags like this I've ever purchased were from IKEA. They hold a ton. Actually, i know for a fact they'll hold 25 lbs without breaking. Costco sells good ones too, but they're not quite so cute. Cheap though. Also, if you want great ones to decorate check www.dharmatrading.com everything on the site is ready to dye and they have great shopping bags,

here in Texas we have Whole Foods and Central Market which make SUPER cute bags... and then there are just plain yet decorative ones at different shops in town. i would be interested in some from stores that We dont have here in Texas.

So, I could craft a bag for my partner and/or use one that is premade? I think this swap sounds like a super neat idea! I'm strongly considering joining as I have LOTS of fabric and patterns to make this kind of bag (yes, sturdy fabric!) :)

I found this link: http://tipnut.com/35-reusable-grocery-bags-totes-free-patterns/ I think it'll be helpful if people decide to craft their own bags! I know I'm using one of them. ;)
