Description:

weeatcrayons had to cancel this swap for personal reasons, so I have restarted it. This is for a 250ct Matchbox (decorated and filled) with a Whimsical Woodland theme. (Think cute fawns, owls, mushrooms, raccoons, hedgehogs, etc.) This will be open to USA and Canada residents only to keep postage costs low. International feel free to host your own! The matchbox must be decorated NICELY on the outside and filled to the top on the inside. You must put quality work into this and make something you would love to receive yourself. Please do not just throw something together, layer/paint/collage, etc. That was all I was able to copy, but it is a pretty explanatory. Make something you would want to receive. I am truly looking forward to this swap.

I would like to join, have scoured the net looking for woodland items and couldnt find any, maybe someone could help me?

Have you tried searching on etsy? I've seen a lot of sellers have those types of themes. You could just type "woodland" in the search for all items and there is like 380 pages of things. Maybe you could find some woodland items. I hope that helps a little bit. =)

How about stickers of woodland creatures and things, little pinecones, ribbon or papers with paw prints....I hope that helps some @scrapkween

so sorry, have been spacey & forgot to check on here. I have been scouring beads, also, toy stores have little animals. also, gnomes, pixies, hedgehogs. pinecones, acorns... beads are good & pins. fabric. But you might need to look in terms of what you think should go in the box. Shripwreck beads online has great stuff & I have been wandering through thrift stores, antique stores & markets. Hope this helps.

I was so excited about doing my first swap that I got carried away and started making my box already! >.< I hope I get someone who actually likes the stuff I made/put in already, otherwise I'll have to make a new one! lol

I have as well, but with this kind of theme, I think if you stick to the theme would be hard to do wrong :)

I'm excited for this swap! I've never done a 250ct Matchbox, before, only the small ones, and this theme is my favorite!
