U.S. only swap

I just did a MYBS and had so much fun putting my ball together and my kids had so much fun taking the ball I received apart that I thought: Why not have one for the kids???

The idea is simple: take a skein of yarn and wrap all kinds of little treats in it for the kiddies. This way, mom or dad get some new yarn and the kids get treats!! Of course it's okay to throw in a little something for the parent too if you really want to. So in the comments section below just let your potential partner know: 1) How many kids do you have? 2) What sex they are? 3) Any color preferences (yours) 4) If there is anything that definately should or should NOT be included in the package

Now for the fine print: Anyone with a rating of less than 4.8 and any no sends with in the past 30 days will be banned. If anyone has any questions please let me know and I will do my best to help!

Lets get swapping!

1) I have two kids

2) Both are boys

3) I would like some crazy pinks no brand preferences (red heart is fine with me)

4) They don't have any food allergies and are big into Indiana Jones, Star Wars and other boyish stuff. It's okay to send candy.

1) 2 ( 3 but two are swapping)

2) Both are boys

3) I am really feeling orange right now. ;)

4) bionicles, Indiana jones and starwars ( my boys too), outside play, wallace and grommit, etc.

  • they don't play video games or really watch much tv. so that's out. also super allergic to CATS. No partners who have cats. It's a bad allergy. :( Candy is ok. :)

Oh one thing I forgot to include in my #4 response is LEGOS big time!!!

honeybknits 07/ 2/2009 #

yes legos galore!!! At this moment my son is looking at his lego club magazine-comic book ( the free one you can get in the mail) does your son(s) get this-

I have 2 boys. Boy stuff yeah! Both enjoy cars, pet shop, minatures, anything art related, and anything boyish. I love blues and greens. I don't use yarn except in scrapbooking and ATC's so any type of interesting yarn. Doesn't have to be expensive.

These are great fun made with crepe paper streamers. Maybe a future swap??

Ooh, this should be fun! I also have a boy who is 10 and very into most of things the boys so far like: He loves: Legos Star Wars His favorite color is red He LOVES dragons Candy, is okay, no chocolate we are in Florida He doesn't like gummies Art supplies Nothing creepy or scary though. I'd like some purple yarn or lime green!

I also have loads and loads of girly things, lip glosses, jewelry, craft items. I own a girl's birthday party business and can do a great girly yarn ball. So feel free to match me with a girl. Might be easier actually!

I've got one boy, and anything is really okay for him as long as it's not scary or depressing. He is into dragons right now, but will be happy with whatever you decide to put in there. As for myself, I have issues with Red Heart yarn, so if possible, anything other than that. However, if you want to send Red Heart, I can give the yarn to someone else. I love green and pink and lavender and blue.

Hi I have a 6 year old son. He loves legos, star wars, Indiana Jones, trains, batman, cars, crafts, & etc. He loves candy, gummies, etc.

I love purple, pinks & turquiose colors. Any yarn is fine. Thanks

Just curious on the spending amount recommended and the number of items that should be included. This is my first yarn ball. Thank you. Any tips or ideas would be great.

I sent.

You know, I don't know if you all will get this message this late into the game, but my 10 yr old wants to do a large matchbox swap which would include a die cast car and maybe a bit more fun things. Kids decorate the box. I will be hosting this shortly and might have to let you all know personally with so many parents of boys running around. My kids love swaps so the more they get involved in the merrier!
