Description:

Tis the season to start planning our holiday entertaining and office parties. One of my favorite things to make (and eat) are cupcakes. I thought it would be fun for us to make 1 set of cupcake picks for 1 partner. They are lightweight and quick to make.

The basic idea is to take a patterned paper or image and cut to about a 1 inch size. It can be a circle, square, oval (the shape is up to you) and glue to a toothpick or other such pick that will fit nicely into a cupcake. You may add NICE stickers or stamped images onto your cupcake "topper". Make them something your partner will actually use!!

You will make 6 picks for 1 partner AND you will send them your favorite cupcake recipe. The recipe may be handwritten or printed (no requirements for the recipe...just something yummy!)

Newbies are welcome as long as they have a plump profile. No flaking tolerated. Flakers will be banned from future swaps & will never be allowed to eat another cupcake as long as they live :-)

The picture above is not my creation but an awesome example I found on Flickr
