This is a group swap for members of ''Vampire Lovers''. Therefore you need to be a member of this specific group to join. As Christmas is fast approaching I thought a sparkly vampire tree topper would be appropriate and follow on nicely from the ''Christmas Vampire'' swap that Jazza recently coordinated. As some of us already have small tree ornaments from that swap I thought a large tree topper would complete the set. Of course you do not need to have participated in the ''Christmas Vampire'' swap to join this one, a sparkly vampire tree topper will look unique however your tree is dressed. The aim of this swap is to create a stunning vampire tree topper that will take pride of place at the top of your partners tree. It can be a male or female vampire, but must have a bit of sparkle. For example, black glitter, beading, sparkly fibres, sequins, small rhinestones etc, so it stands out when it catches the light. You will make ONE large sparkly vampire tree topper for ONE partner. Size wise the tree topper can be anywhere between 6 inches to 8 inches tall and made from whatever media you excell in be it fabric, heavy cardstock, papier mache, clay, mixed media, altered plastic doll/ tree topper/ ornament etc. However, do not make it too heavy as it's going at the top of the tree. Please remember to include a loop at the back of your tree topper so it can easily be attached to the tree. Just make sure it's beautifully made and securely packaged so it does not get damaged en route. PLEASE DO NOT SEND ''TWILIGHT'' UNLESS YOUR PARTNER IS HAPPY TO RECEIVE IT. As it's a group swap I'm assuming everyone has high standards when it comes to swapping, but anyone dodgy who sneaks in will be dropped before the swap starts. Participants should have at least 10 snail mailed swaps and no recent no sends. Feel free to check out flickr and do a general web search ''vampire doll'' and ''vampire ornament'' for inspiration. Any questions just ask and I will do my best to answer them. The image used is of a gorgeous vampire doll created by an etsy dark side team member. |
