Sounds great...cant quite commit to it now...but love "Everyday Matters" and journaling. I have a hard time parting with mine :)

Lois, I understand, it's hard for me too. I plan to make a digital copy of my favorite entries. But I am looking forward to seeing someone else's work. I would be willing to decrease entries if that would be preferred. Do you post your Everday matters, I'd love to see them? Hope you decide to join.

this swap sounds very interesting... question for clarity as I've never done this kind of swap before... are we also leaving blank pages for someone to do their own artwork or is the whole point to simply share our art journaling? thanks...

junieandj 01/27/2010 #

CollageCafe04- This swap is to share our art and jounarls with others. I think you could leave blank pages if you wanted, but that is not a requirment. You want to have about 30 entries, but if your book had more pages then that you could certianly leave them blank.

i have one question. usually people consider a sketch just pencil and paper. however...i like color. lol. so is it okay if i use color pencils to color my sketches??

junieandj 02/ 8/2010 #

For this, swap I really mean a sketch that is not a finished drawing, but still has some details of what the item looks like.It doesn't have to be a finished piece of art perfectly polished, but should be fun and artful. You can use any medium you like, so color is certianlly okay. I have a website linked to this swap, and my profile with some examples of my work and my husbands work. Your drawings don't have to look like this, but just to give you an idea. Eveyone has a unique drawing style. It's meant to just share some things from your life, your art, and get to look at someone else's art too. Have fun.
