oh scrap!!

I am excited for this swap to start, as I just aquired 7 boxes of quilt fabric from and estate sale. Most of it is from the 70's and 80's and i need to share!! I will never make that many quilts in my lifetime! haha!

I'm very excited ...can't wait to see my package.

I got my package today!! Too early to leave feedback, so I figured I would post here for now!! I got a bag of mostly upholstery fabric, which was totally neat, now i need some ideas on what to do with it! I think i could use it for a crazy quilt, but what have others done with these kinds of scraps? I quilt with cotton like a mad woman, and just started crazy quilting which I think they call for all kinds of fabrics to use, but if i didn' want to use it for that, what could i use it for? The pieces aren't big enough for one thing, it would have to be patchwork of some sort. If you had a bag of upholstery scraps what would you do with it? :) I want to use it, so help me please!! I make anything and everything, just need some inspiration!!!

Don't forget to rate your partners!! Hmmm..I make coin purses, small wallets, etc. with scraps. The upholstery fabric is cool because it's so thick. I also just like to "decorate" items with fabric...that's fun too.

small wallets, cosmetic case, knitters needle roll, business card case, or small scented sachets..

Awesome ideas! I think small coin purses would be great! I actually got a few larger pieces of upholstery fabric to go with it this weekend at a couple of tag sales! So, I can use the larger pieces as a backing and then use the smaller ones for a patchwork front or something! THANK YOU!
