Description:

I've been amazed at some cute handmade things I've received in the mail recently, so I decided to make a swap dedicated to handmade kawaii! Here's a chance to stretch your creative muscles and still get your kawaii fix in :)

For this swap, you will send 5 different handmade, hand-decorated, or upcycled kawaii goodies. Items can be made from scratch, hand-drawn, cut from memos, collaged, embellished, printed.. the possibilities are endless!

Here are some ideas for potential items to send:

  • Jewelry (glass tile pendants, resin pieces, etc)
  • Magnets
  • Bookmarks
  • Matchboxes
  • Amigurumi / felted plushies
  • Decorated jewelry/trinket boxes
  • Cel phone straps / key chains
  • Pouches / coin purses
  • Journals / letter sets / postcards

Anything goes, as long as they are quality items you put your heart into :) Please note this is a kawaii swap, and while there are of course no brand requirements, keep in mind the Japanese idea of kawaii while making your items. This is sender's choice to some extent (so you can start making things now!) but please check your partner's profile so you don't send them something off their dislikes list!

Note that several items of the same kind (like 4 magnets, a couple postcards) should count as ONE item out of the five you're sending.

Since this is a time-intensive swap, swappers must have at least 5 completed and rated real (not email) swaps under their belt, and no recent no-sends to join. Please only join if you're sure you can make and send items!
