Description:

I simply love postcards- making, sending and recieving them :) I figured, while trying to find an original theme i'de like to share and work on, that urban life and urban stories are a great inspiration for me. therefore (here comes, here comes)- I'de like you all to send 1 postcard to 3 people- a total of 3- on the theme of "Big City Life". store-bought cards are fine, if they show your city the way you like it, or a favorite site in it, but then again I find it much more fun making it by yourself. On the back, describe either 1. some of your favorite things about living in the city. 2. a unique urban legend/story/myth/historical event. 3. a special city-related expirience you had. (ever got lost? ever met someone special on the street? I have, not once :)

I want everyone to enjoy this, that's the reason we're here, isn't it? so I'll allow people with a 4 rating at least, and newbies as I am one myself :)... Just make sure you have a profile, which means you're a real person. obviously, this is an INTERNATIONAL swap, as it will be far more interesting and anyway pretty cheap [+ I'm located somewhere in the middle-east myself].

Have a great time and get creative! this is about why we choose to live in those smoggy, crowded metropolines instead of getting a sheep-farm in New-Zealand! [hint hint: because we love them :)] Please mail me/comment here with absolutely any questions you have.

Ohhh, I thought this was an urban legends kind of postcard. Sorry!

This sounds like fun!

Yeah... I bet anyone will guess which city my postcard will be about ;o) I have a great deal of stories to share. Some cities are just like huge open books of mysteries...

Little question : do we have to slip the card in an envelope or can we stamp it directly ?

@ rudenun: I think i'll open a saparate swap for urban legends later on, could be a lot of fun too :]

@ nana: I want the postcards to be stamped directly, much more authentic, isn't it? ;]

that's for sure :o)
