what are those chewy bars in the pic? chocolate? fruity? I have never seen those in the US so I have no idea.

whoa. ten is going to be quite heavy to send overseas. furthermore it's 3 partners. I'll watch for now (:

The picture shows refresher bars, they are common in the UK. They are a chewy bar with fizzy bits in them x

I'd love to join, but my wallet doesn't allow it. Shipping overseas is expensive but I love the idea.

I don't know if we have an equvialent to those here in the US even so this swap is way too expensive for shipping international but I'll keep watching if anything changes.

Ok so I have changed the swap so that you will have two partners and you will send 5 bars to each. Hope this is ok....x.

Also I'm very surprised that there is no candy like this in the USA!! Other popular chew bars are Wham, Stinger, Lanky Larry, Dan Bar, Fruit Salad, Black Jack, Bruiser, Fizzy Lizzy and there are probably hundreds more... ^_^

Marian 06/ 2/2010 #

Oh and Roy Rover love those ones.... ^_^

I think there are a few willy wonka chew bars. . . . Surely they are sold in the US? >_<

Lanie 06/ 3/2010 #

I am actually not sure what a "chew bar" would be in the US.

The willy wonka ones I have seen are chocolate bars and candies in packages.

Trying to think as to what would be chewy that is not chocolate type bar or granola...hmmmmm

Lanie 06/ 4/2010 #

so I tried to do a google search to see if anything came up as a us equal to chewy bars but the majority of things that came up were either chewy granola bars and the like, chocolate bars, tootsie roll bars (the long stick looking one) and a UK candy site with tons of these chewy bars. So I still have no idea what an american chewy bar would be. It's not like a taffy bar is it? or a fig bar? Do they usually have chocolate or only fruit and fizzy stuff?

sorry for all the questions but this has me soo intrigued :0)
