Description:

This is a swap made just for tea lovers! It's international since it shouldn't cost too much to post the tea!

You should send your partner the following:

  • At LEAST 25 teabags (or the equivalent in loose tea), with at LEAST 3 different flavors/varieties in the tea you send. You can send more tea for hearts.

  • If sending teabags which are not individually wrapped (like Celestial Seasonings) or loose tea, please be sure to label the tea and package it in a clean ziplock (or similar) bag so that your swap partner knows what kind of tea it is.

*It can be any kind of tea that you send, but if you would prefer to receive non-caffeinated tea, you may put that in the comments below.

You CAN send boxes of tea to your partner instead of individual bags, but there should be a total of at least 25 bags with 3 different kinds of tea sent total. Or you can send 25 different flavored teabags, or any combination that works for you.

Newbies are welcome with a completely filled out profile. Others must have a rating of at least 4.5 with no no-sends (if you think you have an exception, message me and I'll be glad to chat with you!)

This is the first swap I've coordinated, and I will try to angel if someone doesn't receive their teas.

Please no herbals or greens--they don't fulfill my caffeine cravings. Black fruity teas are my favorite--YUMM!

Tangoshoes, your teas went out today! :)

Funny conversation at the post office in regards to it:

Me: Yes, I'd like to know if a 6x9" envelope going to England would require a large or small customs form.

Post Office Clerk: Well, that depends on what is in it.

Me: I'll be sending teabags, mostly.

Clerk: (pause) You're sending.......tea? To England?

Me: Yes

Clerk: You do realize the irony of that, don't you?

LOL Just thought the rest of you would get a kick out of that conversation :D

Thanks for sharing the conversation--irony is my favorite form of humor! BTW, my teas are on their way to The Netherlands.

Hi everyone!! It's officially past the send out date for this swap, and I want to say that I hope everyone had a great time with this swap and received (or will receive) really nice tea.

We still currently have 3 people marked as "not sent", and I realize sometimes it slips the mind to click the "sent" link if you've sent out your item lol But if you are by chance experiencing a delay in sending out the teas, please be courteous and send your partner a message letting them know it may be late.

Thank you all so much for making this swap successful!!
