Description:

This is like Star Trek: The Next Generation...in Cemetery Photo swap form. =D

Here's the usual description...

This is for all of us that think that wandering a cemetery is the best way to pass a lazy afternoon. (And what a great spot to picnic in!) And if you're like me, you bring a camera along!

I'm a New England gal and have spent many a happy hour in the Grove Street Cemetery in New Haven, and The Burying Ground in Salem...and I have the pictures to prove it. (Like the one for this swap! This was taken at the Burying Grounds last October.)

And here's the difference:

In this swap you'll send three pictures of JUST headstones to 2 partners. Make 'em as interesting as possible! They can be taken by you, or given to you...nothing downloaded off the Web, however. Pick your pixs, print them out (6X4 minimum) and send them to your eager partners.

Usual fine print. Newbies are welcome, with well filled out profiles and swappers in good standing (4.8 and higher.) No flaking or the angels will cry, yaddi yaddi. I reserve the right to ban at will. ;-)

Could it be also headstones in a church. In the Netherlands people could get buried in a chuch until 1750. I have many great headstones situated in a church even on a street after the middle part of the church collapeged and never was rebuilded. Due the historical value they had kept the headstones where they where.

Pretty darn cool, Mar! I vote yes. =D

I really love these cemetery swaps. Thanks for hosting them.

I know there was a comment in on of the other cemetery swaps, about the idea of a time frame of the headstones but that isn't a requirement for this one right? Another swap for later would be great for headstones that are from a certain time, but sometimes an old headstone is replaced with a newer one by family.

Nope, no time frame, just interesting headstones. =D Maybe we'll do the time frame one later.

What a wonderful swap but I have no headstone pictures to participate :( Cool though!

I like the helpful information you provide in your articles. I will bookmark your weblog and check again here regularly. I'm quite sure I'll learn many new stuff right here. If you are finding something for fun, let's try cuphead
