Yummy yummy! Whether you're having a celebratory slice for your birthday, or a frosting-covered piece just because you deserve it - cake is something almost anyone can enjoy. Homemade-from-scratch is delicious, but you just can't beat the convenience, reliability and versatility of store-bought cake-mix! With a few alterations, a simple yellow cake-mix can easily become an Almond Crusted Honey Cake. In this swap, participants are asked to send an altered cake-mix recipe to ****2**** partners. You can send the same recipe to both partners, or send them each a different one - it's up to you! Make sure your recipe has been kitchen-tested and taste bud approved... you don't want to send anything that's going to flop, or taste like old gym socks. If you snag a recipe offline and have never personally prepared it - double check to make sure it has good ratings from chefs who have! Please do not send an alteration that merely involves changing the amount of oil or eggs. You should send something that changes plain ol' cake-mix into a unique and fabulous cake! Recipes should be sent on a recipe card for convenience, and can be either hand-written or printed. (Hooray!) From the last sign-up day, you will have one week to get your recipes out - so be thinking of which recipe/s you want to share. ^___^ If you have any allergies, please post them below for your partners' convenience! Good luck, have fun, and let me know if you have any questions. |
