Description:

Remember these? I was given my first ones back around 1970 so they were made in those infamous 70's colors. But I adored them, and every now and then make more to spread around. They look cute sitting around in little baskets - white, tan, gold, black speckled, little red hen, or bright perky yellow.

For this swap you will have one partner to make one knit or crochet chicken to fit over a large plastic egg filled with candy. You can search the internet or look on Knitting Pattern Central or sister site Crochet Pattern Central in the holiday section for chicken egg cozy pattern. Yours can be any color or design, knit or crochet, but please make sure it's an easy to recognize chicken and not modern art.

To send anything less than your best attempt to make your partner smile is not swapping to your full potential nor treating your partner right. Make your partner smile!

Swapper requirements: Not a swap open to Newbies. However, I might arrange a private swap for newbies if you convo me. Rated 4.9 or higher, participated in 5 package type swaps, and no 1's. I will check before assigning partners and ban anyone who has slipped in ratings or is posting on their profile that they will late in sending for any reason. I reserve the right to exclude anyone if I believe they will create problems for other swappers.

Hi there! Just to clarify, would we be sending the egg cozy with candy filled egg or sans candy filled egg? Either way's good for me

Yup, you fill the plastic egg with candy. Maybe jelly beans, candy corn, kisses etc. Marshmellow peeps would be fun.
