This is a quick summary of what’s going on..but you should probably read the swap info page too.

When you get the package, this is what you need to do: Take out 1 item, put 2 items in AND a letter and a photo of you holding your items, list on the back of your photo your items, your username. Write your username on your letter also. The letter can be about your items, about you, something fun etc..Don’t take out anyone’s letters or photos. You can add in extras (stickers, buttons etc..) but just make sure you write down on your letter what extras you put in (i.e. the pink flower button). Don’t just say “a button” in case others put in buttons. When sending this to your next partner, get Proof of Postage at the Post Office, it’s free. If the package gets lost and you don’t have your proof of postage you will be banned from all future swaps and rated a one. Don’t rate your partner until the package has arrived back to me and I let you know everything :). When you pass this on at the post office make sure you write on the little green note thing everything that is included. i.e. say "arts and crafts, cd, paper," etc. If someone has already put an ATC in the package, don't send an ATC. We want loads of diverse things. Use the same package, if it gets worn and torn, just tape and fix it up.

if swap is finished earlier than December (which it should be) then ill bring the end date closer. Don't take out of the package the previous swappers photos or letters, only 1 item from the package (i.e. cd, artwork, postcard, atc). Don't rate your partner until the package has been sent back to me right at the end.

People who join this swap must log in every few days to keep in constant touch with me, sending me pictures and updates of when they got the package and what was in it, what they put in it etc..

YOU CAN CHUCK IN EXTRAS (STICKERS, BUTTONS ETC.) BUT MAKE SURE YOU MENTION IT WAS YOU WHO PUT THEM IN.

DON'T SEND ANYTHING HEAVY OR BIGGER THAN A CUP..OR SLIGHTLY SIMILAR TO THAT SIZE. SO A HEAVY CUP WOULD BE A TERRIBLE ITEM TO SEND FOR EXAMPLE.

8 members max. any more and the postage would get real expensive for the last few people. members picked at random. if you dont make it this time, hopefully next time.

***16 items, 8 photos & 8 letters will pass through this package in total. that's alot (again = a lot of postage).

I'm glad to start this idea of mine with you guys.

There is a lot to read here so pay attention, it'll be worth it.

For this swap we will all be passing along ONE package. it will slowly fill with items. It's a kind of "pass the parcel" swap.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN? HOW DOES THIS START?!?! WHAAT??!

Okay this is how it starts. I will start THE WORLD PACKAGE swap. I will pass on to person 2. Person 2 will take a picture (see below), person 2 will also add their items (see below) and pass onto Person 3, this will repeat until everyone has passed it on. The last person will send THE WORLD PACKAGE back to me. From there I can work out who has sent and passed on the swap.

OOH OKAY! THAT SOUNDS COOL! WHAT DO I SEND?!

You will take of picture of yourself with the TWO items you are putting into the package. You will write a letter about your items, about yourself and about something fun! ADD TWO ITEMS! Take ONE ITEM that someone else has already added to the package. Take ONE ITEM ONLY. Make sure to add TWO COOL AWESOME items. NOT one cool item and one shit item. They both have to be awesome. Any item. Just make it cool! Something you think us (the group) will all like. If someone has already put an ATC in the package, don't send an ATC. We want loads of diverse things.

SPEAK ENGLISH? COME AGAIN?..

You will put your photo (of you with your 2 items) into the package, along with the letter. You can take your photo in a fun place if you like. In a cave? under a waterfall? Write your name and your items on the back of your photo. and also write it on your letter.

There is a long deadline for this swap to come to a finish, understandably, because it is being sent over the world. You get to spend THREE days with your group package. Then it's time to pass it on.

BUT WHAT IF I AM ONLY THE 2ND PERSON IN THE SWAP? BOO! Okay so you won't get lots of treats to open but think of it this way:

A) You are being a GREAT swapper by passing it on and being a part of the team (The Butterfly Anarchists). This will give you special treats in the future.

B) Also, Less postage for you!

BUT HOW DO I RATE MY PARTNER? worried about how to rate your partner for such a weird swap? Wait til the swap deadline finishes. that's in DECEMBER. Then i'll contact you. DON'T rate your partner until then!

Anyone who flakes from this swap/doesn't forward THE WORLD PACKAGE/Takes more than one item will then be rated a 1, banned from the group and all future swaps i host. so don't let the team down. we are building a community. if you screw your partner over, you're screwing us ALL over. And that's not cool. You don't have to join this swap. Only join if you're going to do it for real.

USE THE SAME PACKAGE. WE WANT IT COVERED IN STAMPS! If it gets worn and torn cover it in tape where it is fraying. I'll be making a flickr photo group of the pictures you've taken/i've taken. when you get the package, take a picture (see below) and email it to me [email protected] YOU MUST DO THIS!! Also tell me what item you took from THE WORLD PACKAGE.

This is a high risk swap. take a picture of THE WORLD PACKAGE when you get it (along with your items/letter)..your picture must clearly show every item... and get proof of postage (free!) This means if Person 4 doesn't get the swap we know it wasn't Person 2's fault because they have proof they sent it. and if it does happen to get lost (it does happen sadly sometimes) we have proof it was sent (proof of postage). If you don't take pictures and send them to me, YOU will be banned and rated a 1. also when you email me the picture tell me what items you put in the package.

WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS CRAZY SWAP?! This REALLY is about building a community, about building trust. We can be strong and be long trusted pals for life! Also, how fucking cool is this going to be when you open this package to find lots of treats to browse thru and new friends to make.
