a. What two mindsets did the Israelites display during their years in the wilderness that caused them to die out there?

b. How are "stubborn" and "rebellious"" described? Do either or both of them describe you?

c. Why is it not enough to reach a certain plateau and think, "I've gone as far as I'm going to go"?

2. Read 1 Samuel 15:22,23; Romans 5:17; Revelation 1:6 KJV; Ecclesiastes 12:13

a. Why do many of God's children fail to "reign as kings in life"?

b. How is obedience related to respect and reverence?

c. If Solomon had so much wisdom, how could he have made so many sad mistakes in his life?

3. Read Romans 5:19 KJV

a. Explain how your choice to obey or not to obey not only affects you, but multitudes of others.

b. Obedience is a far reaching thing; it __________________________________________________________________.

4. Read 2 Corinthians 10:4,5; Isaiah 55:8

a. Our thoughts are what get us into trouble quite often. What must we do to avoid this problem?

b. What should you do if what is in your mind does not agree with God's thoughts (the Bible)?

c. Satan has launched a war. What is the battlefield?

d. How will this book assist you to win that war?

Personal Reflection - You don't have to answer these but I wanted to add it in so we can think about them.

1. What aspect of Battlefield of the Mind was most meaningful for you?

2. Has reading it changed any of the established mindsets you may have had?

3. Has it helped you in any areas of difficulty, and if so, what are they?

You will have 1 week to read the chapter and send your answers to your partners. Please let me know if you have any questions.
