♥sew a Poochie Bag- 3♥

What an adorable idea! Right now I'm starting a "teacher" bag for my daughter who just got her degree to teach elem school. And another bag to hang on a walker for my aunt who was diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease and is now on a walker. I'm in the bag mood so THANKS for sending me a personal message to join! I love the bright colors .. and of COURSE .. the PINK one! SEW springy and cherry!

I've made several of these poochies since joining this swap. The first one took a bit as the instructions weren't clear to me. But once I did one .. I was off and running. I have lots of fat quarters and scraps from quilting so I was making poochies all day on Friday. They are great to give a present in .. and reusable! I went to a b-day party on Saturday and my gift of homemade laundry detergent was in a ziploc bag but was much cuter in the poochie!

I totally agree with Elin, one can NEVER have enough fabric bags (that replace that awful plastic stuff). I'm really looking forward to sewing my first poochie bag :)
