Description:

Since art swap card #1 to 5 were so popular I taught I get a number Art postcard swap # 6 for the month of May !

Simple swap, send and received some art postcards...

Swap is international so you might send and receive cards from other country than yours...

So send a naked Art postcard (no envelope required) to your 5 partners.

Art card can be painting, statue, card showing a museum or other form of art of your choice... but card has to come from a shop (in your city or online) NO HANDMADE CARD allowed for this swap.

And remember this is a POSTCARD SWAP, so if you do not want to write a message to the person you are posting the postcard to, you DO NOT have to do so. All you need to write (or type) is just the name of the swap and your swap-bot name. However if you would like to write a personal message it's totally your choice... Then again if you happen to know someone (or yourself) who publish postcards or deal in postcards in anyway do not hesitate to mention (advertise) this on your postcard - ANYTHING to advance the collecting of postcard in this world is VERY WELCOME... they are less and less peoples collecting postcards around the world (due to Email and phone messaging I guess) so feel free to promote this hobby in anyway you can to whom you can... (I can't believe I have to say that!)...

Rate your partners fairly once you receive your cards please !

I purchase good quality postcards at vintage antique shows and my local postcard club. Can I use older cards for this swap rather than ones purchase online or in a store?

sure no problem with older (if not damaged) postcards... no specification of the age of the postcards to be use for this swap... No free advertising style cards however... Laurent swap co-ordinator

A couple of weeks ago I went to the Walker Museum, a prominent art museum in Minneapolis, for postcards, expecting to find plenty. I was surprised to find a small selection of a dozen cards. I was very disappointed. I hope this is not a trend.

yes many museum are reducing their postcard choice here also in Australia... peoples now tend to take photo rather than buy postcards... GLOBAL TREND unfortunately !

I had to make a last minute unexpected interstate trip last week. Just a quick note to apologise for sending late. I have sent all 5 cards today - Tues Sydney time.
