Description:

I am very new to making inchies, so I thought I would make a swap for all those who wanted to give it a try.

For this swap you send your partner 6 inchies. Inchies are little pieces of art created on a 1" by 1" square. You can make them any theme you wish.

They should be sturdy when completed, please use card or cardboard for the backing, paper isn't strong enough.

Please send something you would be pleased to receive.

To be eligible to participate in this swap you need to have a fully completed profile.

As always please follow the Swap-bot rules when rating for your swap, hearts are of course at the receiptant's discretion.

Anyone in this group may join this swap as long as you have no 1 or 3 ratings in the last 6 months. If you do have a 1 or 3 rating within the last 6 months and really want to join, please PM me about the reason for the rating. I will then reconsider letting you into the swap. However if you have flaked on me or any of my hosted swaps in the past you are automatically banned. I hate to ban, but I will be completely checking out profiles, and I will ban if I have to do so.

Please note that as this is a newbie's group, some newbie's may have no ratings or very few, this is something to consider when joining.

Anyone who sends late can quite rightly be given a 3 by their partner. However extenuating circumstances should always be given consideration when rating.

Yay - inchies. Won't be able to join this swap as we are going on holiday - but I am def in for the next round :)

6 inchies fit onto an ATC sized card quite easily, so that will safe on shipping :) Just fit them onto the ATC card (2.5" x 3.5") in two rows with a teeny tiny amount of double-sided sticky tape (so that they do not get damaged when your partner takes them off), place into an ATC sleeve and voila. Mail off like an ATC :)

do you have some sample where I can see? no idea how tinny is it. :) I appreciate that.

When you make a set of inchies like this, are they generally done as a set? As in, with a set theme?

@saturner if you go to Flickr and type in Inchies, it will bring up a load of them, so you can see them. I will be hosting another inchie wap soon.

@panthyrr you can make them themed if you wish, but it is not a specific of this swap, they can all be individual ones for this one. I shall start hosting themed ones too if enough people are interested .
