Camp NaNo Care Package

In all of the 80's away-camp movies I've seen (as close as I ever got to camping as a kid), the best time of day was mail call and hoping your parents sent a care package. We're going to do something similar. Spend between $5-10 (or the equivalent outside of the US) to send your partner a few items in a care package for August's Camp NaNoWrimo.

You can send a small plushie (as a muse/inspiration/etc), snacks, a small craft kit, a notebook for writing ideas down when they're away from their computers, etc.

You will have one partner for this swap. Cut off for the sign-up date is July 8, and the final send date is July 22nd to allow packages to arrive at international locations in time.

Now for the somewhat boring but still critical stuff:

• If you have a partner located outside of your country, please check with your local post office (or website) to see what cannot be sent to them. It'd be a shame to send a lovely bit of local herbal tea to Australia (for example) and have them quarantine the entire thing because it contains non-indigenous flora.

• Please don't send burned music CDs, it's illegal in many areas and against Swap-Bot's rules.

• Please check with your partner if you're concerned about allergies. If they're allergic to peanuts, you don't want to send peanut butter cookies.

• I've never had an issue with flakers in this group, but please don't join this swap if there's a chance you won't send your package on time. While I understand life happens, I won't be able to angel this. We'll be doing this again in fall and if that works better for you, do it then.
