Description:

So here at swap-bot we have swaps centered around our friends, children, ourselves, but what about our beloved pets? I myself am an extensive pet owner and get very excited when I find new treats or toys that I'm not used to seeing. This is my inspiration behind this swap.

Send out a package of animal products for your partners pets, I'm thinking a 15-20 dollar value though this is a suggestion not a rule, the goal is that everyone will have a great package at the end. Toys, treats, and hand made things are all welcome. If you don't have a local pet store think outside the box, maybe bandanas or pet stationary for a shopping list. A little effort goes a long way!

Also send a friendly note to go with it, maybe talking about your own pets or about the package.

This swap is profile dependent, so make sure your four legged friends are mentioned in your profile. Also any and all kinds of animals are welcome ( I myself have a few exotics). If you are unsure about the details of your partners pets as to what they can or cannot eat or play with, send them a message or email. This is a great way to make lasting relationships!

This is an International swap due to the variety that might come up. 4.8 rating or higher and New members are welcome, though I will stress that I would highly hope there isn't any flakers as someone ( and their pet!) is counting on you.

I will angel if necessary.

Thanks, and have fun!

I'm not sure I could do $20 right now on one swap, although I love these kinds of swaps I just hosted one and I loved it.

This will be for my hamster Nitis Pipis .He loves crunchy treats , hamster wool ,toys and fruity treats. Neat swap.

If you ever host a US - only, I'm in! Especially if there is not a dollar value associated. This is a FANTASTIC idea!

This is interesting as I was just talking to my friend about this, I think that will be the plan as soon as this one is done. I forsee pet centric swap hosting weekly in my future.

This is a great swap idea but $20 plus the potential for a big international postage bill is not something I can commit to :) But I agree, pet-centric swapping is really fun!

Totally understandable.. I just sent one out to Australia which I know I had to budget out for, Which is why it's a suggestion, not by any means the rule. My goal is to have quality packages that are fun to open. I will set up a US version next though :-D

Me and my extensive animal collection look forward to your US only swap since I work at a pet store, sadly I too am worried about international postage

I have got two cats and 11 pet rats. If you send something for the rats please make sure that it isn't too small. They don't need anything for hamster (like hamster running wheel, hamster wool and so on.) They like plush hammocks, plush tubes, plush cubes something tasty for rats. And the cats are very easy :) Anything is nice :)

My cat would be really happy to receive package in the mail :)
