I am 31 years old. I work in an art museum. I'm interested in anything art-related, including design and architecture.
Things I enjoy: Mail (obviously), listening to music, museums, weather, peaches, beautiful paper, letterpress printing, shoes, vinyl records, and books.
I worked in a stationery store through college, and have collected lots of interesting supplies over the years - pretty papers, ephemera, stickers, embellishments, etc. I'm excited to swap some of these treasures out for different things with you!
Other hobbies are tennis, visiting museums, and baking.
I love to travel, and have been to Australia, New Zealand, Italy, France, Austria, Czech Republic, Turkey, Ireland, United Kingdom, and Mexico.
The city of Boston has my heart.
I would LOVE postcards sent blank in an envelope, even if the swap calls for them to be sent naked. I collect postcards, and having new, unused cards to add to my collection would be most appreciated!
For postcard swaps, I especially enjoy these themes/subjects:
Zen gardens, Vinyl records, Details in nature, Modern and contemporary art, Design, Patterns and textures, Images that are mostly white, circles, Tiles, Simple images, Black and white photography, Outdoor sculpture (especially abstract or covered in snow), Weather-related images (especially rain, fog and snow), Lights (light bulbs, lanterns, Christmas lights, streetlamps, etc), Dramatic landscapes, Trees, Night photography (especially with the moon), Interesting architecture, Typography, Richard Avedon, Mark Rothko, Marcel Duchamp, Banksy, Georges Rouault, Unusual images or sites
I do not like touristy postcards, and I prefer not to receive ad cards or handmade postcards, unless the swap specifically calls for it. I also do not like religious cards, Hello Kitty, Disney, or anything cutesy.
