NOTE: I am taking a temporary break from swapping due to the imminent birth of our first child AND recent reorganization at our local post office that has drastically reduced my faith and confidence in sending and receiving mail.
Me by numbers:
1 husband, 10 years of marriage
1 roommate
2 cats
1 baby officially on the way!
11 states of residence in my life
1 foreign country visited (Hey Canada!)
3 institutions of higher education attended (and graduated)
1 institution of higher education where I resided in the family dormitory but did not attend the school
4 years of military service
LOVES
I love books, reading and writing long letters, all types of paper, a good cup of coffee or tea, browsing Etsy and Regretsy, cooking, chocolate, traveling to visit family and friends, and researching tiny houses and alternative dwellings.
I love zodiac things, both Eastern and Western. I am a metal monkey and a Scorpio.
I will never turn down gel pens, stationary, blank books of any size (especially ones with neat paper inside), little pouches or bags I can use to organize things, and candy. I would prefer the candy be gluten free or clearly labelled if it is not.
HATES
I hate housecleaning, pancake makeup, fake people, plus-size clothing stores, people who blast their music out of the car window, and gluten.
TRADES
I'm new here and I haven't gotten the hang of listing everything I want and have yet.
I have craft supplies like beads, thread, fabric, paint, stickers, gel pens, markers, crayons and special paper. I also have teas, used books, cds, candles and candle holders, quality dry spices. I'm apparently not good at recognizing materials, so if that's important to you I will need to go buy new stuff. Not a problem!
I can make a really neat simple syrup of vanilla and xylitol for anyone who is sugar-sensitive or just curious. I could also do recipes or stationary and postcard swaps. I'd be willing to do ATC, but I've never done it before so I'd prefer to do that with someone willing to give guidance.
I am looking for people in other countries or regions of the US who are gluten intolerant, who might be interested in swapping gluten-free snack foods and baking mixes (pre-packaged) or their own glutern-free recipes. I would also be happy to swap snacks with anyone who has food sensitivities other than gluten.
I'm also looking for newish t-shirts in Men's L or XL and Women's 2XL. Jewelry, stickers, bookmarks, stationary, used books, recipes and new cosmetics are also welcome. Just ask!
