Hello Rockstars!

Your mission - should you choose to accept it - is to receive fun, interesting, odd, eccentric things in the mail (long letters, short ones, short stories about short people, updates about your latest crush, interesting articles, love, tea, stuff. stickers, stuff. Did I mention stuff?) and, in return, to send something fun, funny, interesting to me, if you so choose.

I’m drawn to people who have dark and slightly tormented souls, but are ironically hopeful and funny.

I am an avid reader and writer; I've just begun ideas for my first novel. My tastes in reading are eclectic: everything from Mason Currey's "Daily Rituals", about the routines of famous writers, composers, etc. to "Middlemarch" to Jane Austen to "The Hitchiker's Guide To The Galaxy". I am also a great afficionado of foreign and independent films. (Back when I used to act, one of my first scene partners was Peter Dinklage. True story.) I'm also getting back to acting.

If I had my druthers, I'd travel the world, embracing different cultures and eating their food, especially Indian and Thai food. Don't forget the sushi! Hm. Now I'm hungry. I'm a lifelong student of the French language and hope to one day live in Paris as a writer. I've already lived in London in my early 20's, lived in New York City and worked for the AP and in Chicago where I taught college writing. Life's been good. Currently, I'm living in a small Michigan town. (Help?)

I'd like, however, to meet you. I like you. Do you have a date to the movies?
