About Me

About me I am a 53 mother, wife, daughter, aunt, cousin, and so on and so on. I was working for a temporary agency from my home as a Document Control Analyst until March, now I'm unemployed (not for long I hope) . I like to try new things and visit new places.I really like the postcard swaps and involved in a couple of them. I love all types of cards from scenic to silly!

I also love food- cooking, cookbooks, recipes, odd foods

Favorite Music My favorite music is still rock and roll. My favorite is Eric Clapton, but like the Rolling Stones, Phil Collins, and most bands from the 70's / 80's. Every once in awhile I live jazz and blues.

Favorite Books Mysteries, self help, and what ever strikes my fancy! One of my favorite places to pick up books is Goodwill and thrift shops.

Favorite Television House, 48 hour Mysteries, and shows on Hulu (watch more online than the TV)

Comment: Thank you for the lovely postcard, it was nice to see Billy Grahams Library, I live just outside Glasgow in Scotland and Billy Graham did a six week crusade in Glasgow in the 1950's preaching to over 2.5million people in that time, this was before I was born but many people have told me about it, thanks again

Comment: Thanks for the great card and a great childhood memory! When they first appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show two of my teenaged cousins sat on the floor in front of the TV and screamed like crazy while they performed. I thought this was very amusing and the memory still comes to mind from time to time.
