Iβm a fun loving, bad mouthed, mama of two little boys. I am incredibly crafty, and I enjoy crocheting, painting, doodling, writing, and making jewelry. When Iβm not crafting, I love reading (bookmark trades anyone?), playing games on the Xbox, witchy shit (tarot, crystals, etc.), plants, nature, reading, yoga, and long conversations about life and "energy." Honestly though, I spend most of my time riding bikes with my boys, or at work, where I'm a phlebotomist.
My boys are 9 (June) and 11 (September). They love stickers, letters, postcards, and the simple things in life. Nature, games, and crafting keeps them busy most days. Since my divorce in early 2022, and splitting custody (one week on, one week off) I take every moment I can get with them. They are kind, sweet, thoughtful, intelligent little men and I love watching them grow and develop!
I enjoy a cold cup of coffee in the morning and a hot cup of tea in the evening. Baked goods will be the bane of my metabolism now that Iβm 30. I spend a lot of time on /r/nosleep and LOVE a good scary story. My favorites are non-human humanoids, gore, and real-life monsters. It's funny, because I'm not actually a fan of horror movies- just written stories. Lol.
My paintings and doodles are fairly simple with a child-like charm to them. But I think they're beautiful and I'm excited to share small snippets of my art with folks. Most of my swaps will have some sort of daisy doodled onto the page - unless it's a themed swap.
I'm not sure how or when I'll be able to incorporate my crochet into trades, maybe we can trade patterns? Lol. I'd LOVE to find someone who knits and would like to do skill trades. But that's going to have to be a future adventure.
Shoot me a message and letβs connect. What project are you currently working on? What book are you currently reading? What other hobbies do you have?
I am into most types of music. My playlist consists of everything from a little bit of screaming to a little bit of Christian music. Despite not being religious in any sense. I'm very spiritual. Lol.
My favorite playlist is my "bad bitch" playlist that consists of affirmations, uplifting lyrics, and some amazing songs. These songs include Villain Era by Peachka, Vitamins by Moonlight Scorpio, and Sage by Steadwell. Do you have songs in this genre/style? I'd love to hear about them. We can trade playlists.
Besides this, my absolute favorite artist of all time is Panic at the Disco. Brendon Urie is a God.
Oh lord. This section could be forever long. I've been an avid reader since I was 4 - thanks to my beautiful and always missed Nanny. She taught me to read at a very young age, kept a huge library of age appropriate books for me, and was always encouraging me to "pick one to take home."
My favorite book is The Island of the Blue Dolphins and my copy has her beautiful handwriting in it. "This Book Belongs To Phyllis G." I'll cherish it for the rest of my life and read it at least once a year. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a quick read.
Currently I'm in the middle of Dean Koontz's Odd Thomas series. It's a delightful paranormal mystery series. There's even a movie based on the first book. The movie follows the first book so closely and is the BEST book to movie adaptation I've ever seen!
Speaking of book to movie adaptations, another of my favorite series (that I have yet to finish) is Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire series. That book to movie adaptation is terrible, though, and I have very strong opinions on a good bit of it - if you want to discuss that.
I could go on and on and on. But let me end here by telling you that if you're a reader, you should check out my link for Thriftbooks! When you sign up for ReadingRewards and spend $30 we BOTH get a FREE book credit!!

I went out and bought some supplies to start an ATC journal. I'd love to trade nature, witchy, or inspirational themed ATCs to fill up my journal!
I prefer to make hand drawn, pen and color pencil ATCs at the moment. They come on hand cut cards in little protectors I cut from card protector pages. But I'm open to trading for any medium that you'd like to use!
I'd love to start collecting postcards from different cities with a little note on your favorite thing to do in your city.
A wax sealed envelope (hoping I can save the seal).
I only swap within the USA to save on postage, although I may be open to international flat mail, depending on the price (Iβd have to google it).
I promise to send out in a timely manner and with the utmost best intentions. I also promise to rate every swap I participate in.
If something is going to be late for what ever reason, I promise to communicate with my swap partner. But I donβt plan on joining any swaps if I question my ability to meet the deadline.
At this time, I only want to participate in Type 2 swaps: letters, postcards, notecards, and simple ATCs (like doodles and such) interest me the most!
If you have an issue with me, please feel free to reach out to me and we can resolve it!
I have read of some folks swap partners needing to pay for postage. If you get a swap from me and have to pay for extra postage on it, please send me a message so I can pay you back!
It's been such a busy time for me! Work has been wild, and even on my off days, I don't feel like I'm "off." I spend my off days catching up on chores, meal prepping, and running errands. Being an adult is exhausting.
Besides that, my boys and I are on the second to last book in the 7 book series we have been reading and my crocheted blanket is coming along nicely. I'd like to finish the series before the end of the year, as we have been slowly reading on it together. And I'd like to finish the blanket before it starts getting cold in October.
Oh my gosh. We hiked the Walls of Jericho and they were something. My smart watch says we almost walked 12 miles (I suppose this is including all the extra exploring we did).
Most of the hike was like any other trail, just steeper at some points. Woods, trees, shroomies, lots and lots and lots of spiderwebs to walk into. There was a hidden little cemetery, a few caves, and a couple of little offshoot trails to explore.
The end of the trail was rewarded us with beautiful rock walls, a trickle of a waterfall, pools upon pools of tadpoles, and a little cave with geodes. It was great! Definitely worth the hiking, even if we only ever do it the one time.
The hike back was excruciating. I thought my heart was going to explode out of my chest, I was dripping with sweat, and my toes have blisters. I collected a ton of rocks, bug wings (butterfly, dragonfly, etc). We did see a snake in the middle of eating a rat. I screamed when we came up on it.
And when we were almost back we came across a baby bird that had fallen out of the nest and was laying in the middle of the trail! I moved the poor baby off the trail, I think he had tried to fly and wound up failing. I hope he's ok.
After all of this we came back to some pretty bad news. I can't go into detail, but I think it has changed the way we will do some things in the future and probably won't be visiting the Walls of Jericho again to avoid further vandalism due to the lack of surveillance.
Gooood afternoon all! My best friend asked me to be his girlfriend last night, after two years of being madly in love and questioning if/when. I am absolutely over the moon about this.
I keep rereading the greeting card he asked me in. Yes, a greeting card! With two dozen daises (my favorite flowers!!).
I tear up every time I remember that I have started the journey of the rest of my life with my best friend. I had to share with someone. I wish there were a way for me to share a picture. It was the sweetest thing ever.
I have had such an amazing day today, despite being at work and work being incredibly busy. I want to shout from the rooftops, but this shall do. My heart is so full today, I am incredibly happy. And I hope you all are having an amazing day, too. Sending positive energy to everyone.

I loved reading your profile! I have 4 sons who are all grown up now; I'm sure your time with your boys is so special to you and them. I've been 'out of the loop' of Swap-Bot for a while, but I'm eager to get back in as I've really missed the excitement of creating projects and finding fun mail in my mailbox instead of junk and bills. I hope we can share in some swaps and that I'll get to see some of your projects; we have a lot of interests in common. Enjoy your adventures on Swap-Bot!!!
Congrats on your wonderful day today!
