Hi! I’m a 30 year old stay at home mom to a crazy 2.5 year old toddler. I have 4 cats, 2 dogs and a bearded dragon as well. I’ve done a few swaps on here so far and learned a lot! This is one of my new favorite hobbies, especially recipe swaps!

My family and I moved to rural VA from the Northern VA area to escape the city and to be closer to my husband's family. Many city folk would consider the country to be too slow, but I enjoy the change in pace. I've been spending a lot more time moving around and doing yard maintenance, and actually enjoying what I do.

Some things I enjoy - Crochet - Video games - Flowers - Gardening - Cooking and baking

Favorites Color - Purple Style - Kawaii Drink - Coffee, but I do enjoy a cup of black tea every now and then. I’m always down to trying new teas.

Things I would like to swap - Recipes (family recipes are the best!) I have a severe tomato intolerance, and please don’t be offended but I might pass on any that include tomatoes if the swap allows for it. Slow cooker recipes are my favorite, as I am most energetic in the morning and look forward to a hot, tasty meal at night.
- Drinks like tea, coffee, etc. - Seeds (flower or vegetables, zone 7a in USA).

I’m a (very) inexperienced gardener, but after successfully somehow turning 2 potatoes into 10lbs of potatoes I’m hooked! As of fall 2023 my backyard is currently full of lots of squash and pumpkins. I‘ve started an experiment of filling a large pot with some greens seeds, daikon, turnip and carrot seeds. We also have an old blueberry bush that finally produced a real bumper crop after having it for 6 years. This year I’ve managed to harvest potatoes, sweet corn, blueberries and yellow squash. There is something so satisfying about growing your own food - and it tastes better too. We finally moved to our dream home and have land - I have big garden plans for spring 2024!

I’ve been a gamer since basically toddlerhood, when I would watch my sister play her Dreamcast. The first games I really played were Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Pokémon Red. I’m a big fan of Pokémon and Nintendo games mostly, but occasionally play a PC or Xbox title. I don’t have much time to game these days, but I’m looking forward to someday playing Minecraft with my son.

I have a love / hate relationship with cooking. I dislike cooking the same things over and over again, even if there have been a few weeks since cooking the dish. I love baking but my husband is diabetic so I don't do it too often.
