I am a crafty mom of 4. I like all things crafty, mostly paper crafts (scrapbooking, cardmaking, etc), but I also enjoy sewing and crochet. I just did my first mixed media and loved it. I see a lot more of those in my future. I also just started making atc's. I am originally from up north, a jersey girl, but now I live in the south. I collect pigs and apothecary items, like apothecary labels, mortar and pestles. I also have a dachshund, so I have slowly been collecting dachshund items as well. My crafting style is all over the place. One day can be vintage, the next steam punk, then romantic. It's really however the mood strikes me.

Paper crafting was my first love and I think that's what I am best at. My very first craft was scrapbooking and it has escalated from there. Now I make cards, atc's and I just started mixed media projects. I still scrapbook, Smashbook, and for 2014, I am starting project life. I also crochet (I taught myself because I found a hat I wanted to make for my son). I also sew, also taught myself because I can't stand paying boutique prices for custom made dresses that I can make myself and they look just as good. I also do some vinyl projects now that I have a cameo. I just bought a moleskine planner today and I can't wait to decorate it! My husband thinks I'm just a tad crazy because I am excited about a planner.

Big Bang theory is my favorite tv show. I like the geeky/nerdy stuff. I do watch some reality tv and crime tv, but I usually don't have too much time for TV. I recently got hooked on Salem and Penny Dreadful, they are on the DVR every week.

James Patterson and Stephen king are my favorite authors. I enjoy sci-fi, mystery, and horror books.

I also like old books with a good cover that I can repurpose for making junk journals.

I am pretty easy to please. Chances are if it is craft related, I will love it! Everybody has their own style, and I love seeing that through the swaps with craft components. If I had to pick a favorite color, I would say blue, I love all shades of blue.

For postcards swaps, I prefer them sent naked and written on, and stamped if possible. I'm not really particular about the type of postcard, it can be touristy, artsy, handmade, funny, quirky, etc. I like them all.

There is not much that I do not like. Spiders and snakes creep me out, although friendly halloween spiders are welcome.

As I stated earlier, I just bought a moleskine planner (starts July 2014). I am excited to decorate it! It will be the first time that I am decorating a planner, so I'm not sure exactly what I will do with it. I'm sure the creativity will start slowing once I actually start. I love that it has dated side and the blank side. I can see that getting filled with various to-do lists! I always like to keep 3 lists on hand, a crafty to do list, an everyday to do list, and a shopping list. I really like lists. Post it notes are also fun. I like the all sorts from the ordinary square post it notes or the fun and silly shaped post it notes.
