I live in a suburb of Chicago. I have a Scottish terrier named Ollie Nudel. She is a joy. I enjoy photography and writing.

I enjoy most types of music except Contemporary Country and Contemporary Christian. Right now, what I've been listening to a lot is west coast jazz of the 50s and 60s, Regina Spektor, and the Decemberists. They just came out with a new album and I am still up in the air about it.

I enjoy most genres, but especially love non-fiction. I will read almost any history book you throw at me. As far as fiction goes, my favorite author is Herta Müller for contemporary fiction and Jo Nesbø for crime fiction. Right now I am reading "All the Light We Cannot See" by Anthony Doerr.

I love Wes Anderson, Quinton Tarantino, and the Coen Brothers movies. I also love documentaries and recommend the lastest that I have watched: Putin's Kiss.

I am a huge The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, and Project Runway fan. I also enjoy watching old Seinfeld episodes.

I enjoy photography. I don't do many other crafts anymore.
