Hello! I used this website many years ago and loved it so much! Now that I am now a little more settled in life once again and seem to be done travelling for a few years, I'm back at it! I'm in my thirties (Today, the day I started this account, is my birthday!) I'm focusing my sights on living a life more frugal, sustainable, and green! I am surrounded by antiques that I intend to get into selling.
Just because I appear to be a new user, please give me a chance. I've been in the Swap-Bot game a long time, I had just managed to take a long enough hiatus that I completely forget my old login and am starting from scratch.
I love to read and am excited to delve into more books! Right now I have been reading a lot of homesteading books and how to books on being more self sustainable. I can't get enough! I am also into herbalism, so I love all the herbal books and tea books out there. As far as fiction goes, I tend to read a lot of really weird fiction or humor. My favorite authors are Chuck Palahniuk, Christopher Moore, and anything John Waters touches.
How does one narrow it down? Rockabilly, punk, rock, bluegrass, oldies, metal, just about everything. Not so big on the pop sub genres though. I'm an escapist, so I like fun and interesting sounds and lyrics. (Think:Talking Heads, Oingo Biongo, Tom Waits, Hillbilly Moon Explosion)
I know, it's crazy, this is where I'm at now! I'm always trying to save money and I spend plenty of time in the kitchen and the home. I fought long and hard to be equal and stand up for everyone's rights to do as they please. Now that I am settling down, nesting if I may, I have chosen to be a homemaker. I love it. My interests have changed from anarchy to learning to self sustain. Eventually I'd like to live off the grid. for now, I'm Learning Everyday!
I digress... Coupons. I'm trying to save money and live well. Coupons I use are things for ingredients and anything for a better, happier, healthier life. I do not use disposable anything. I have plenty to trade and would like to start there.
Here are a few examples of things that I'd love to receive from a coupon swap: -Bob's Red Mill or other organic fair trade grains, flours, and seeds -Nuts -Milk Alternatives. Almond milk, Coconut milk, Ripple, ect. -Butter -Any sort of produce -Frozen Vegetables -Eggs. We appreciate local eggs, but sometimes need more. -Meats. We don't eat meat very often, but coupons help -Baking supplies. Sugar, flour, yeast, ect -Baking Soda -Borax -Washing Soda -Vinegar -Braggs Anything -Essential Oils -Anything herbal -Teas -Coffee -Wine (I love red wine!) -Beer -Hardware stores! We are always fixing or building something! I have seen plenty of big box hardware/home improvement store coupons, but never at the right time! Ha.
I'm ok with store specific coupons, as long as they are around us! Food City, Ingles, Target, Earth Fare, Home Depot, Lowes, ect. Just ask!
