About Me

If you're sending me something from outside the EU, please put a customs declaration form on the envelope stating the contents, even if it's just an envelope that's a bit thicker than normal There are no strict customs restrictions for Germany but if it's not clear what's inside they often check contents and this results in very long delays. The German post is working really fast and efficiently but undeclared envelopes can take around six weeks going through customs. Thanks a lot!

Some things you should (or may want to) know about me:

I'm married and mum to a wonderful son. I love communicating with people and swapping things and I'm an avid Postcrosser.

I love to read, especially thrillers and chick-lit novels, but I also like books that make me laugh and travel reports.

In my freetime I enjoy crocheting (mainly blankets, caps and scarves), cross-stitching and baking. I love trying out new recipes, both for baking and cooking. I also just caught the sock knitting bug and can't seem to stop :)

In the summer I go swimming (almost) every day - never in the winter, though, as I actually like cool water and indoor pools always feel too warm to me. I need the open air!

I do love winter, though, and snow, and Christmas! I'm never too happy in the summer when it's hot and humid.

Please note that I'm an atheist and therefore I've no interest in any articles with a religious theme or symbols. However, I am interested in your views and I respect all religions, believes and non-believes.

My sock size is 39 EU/8 US.

Favourite colours are all kinds of blue, light green, dark pink.
