Hello!
My name is Michelle. I live in (mostly) sunny California with my husband and my twin toddlers. I enjoy handicrafts, travel, reading, and MAIL! I have my degree in History of Art and Visual Culture from UC Santa Cruz (GO BANANA SLUGS!), but love working with children. Currently a stay-at-home mom.
I am an avid Postcrosser, LWA member and pen pal. :-)
I love mice, hedgehogs, bumblebees, mermaids, sea horses, otters, maps, stickers, washi tape, and glitter. I'm inspired by a lot of artists from my college studies, especially Klimt, Camille Rose Garcia, Frida Kahlo, Kandinsky, and children's book illustrators.
UPDATE: Our vacation to the Pacific Northwest was great! Thanks to everyone who gave travel recommendations! 😊
I just started working on the weekends at Paper Source again (YAY CRAFTS!), but my time at work will cut down on my crafts and letter-writing at home, so I won’t be signing up for quite as many swaps. This also means I might not check on the status of my sent swaps, so if you have not yet received a swap that I have sent you, please contact me.
Thanks!

I am very new to ATC's and flipbooks. If you like making them and I have signed up for an open-ended swap I would love to build my collection of them and get more inspiration on what to make for my own.
If you are wondering what to send me in a swap, I am fairly easy to please. Just show that you put a little effort into sending me something that you yourself would like to receive. I always like hearing why you sent me what you did, something that we may have in common, a strange fact or secret about you, or what you had for breakfast.
I don't have many dislikes, and anything you send if it is something you enjoy will be welcomed. BUT I don't prefer Disney items (unless it's Tim Burton), super feminine or masculine items, or any politics regarding #45.
Always open to direct swaps, just send me a message!

Whops I had a typo, not pie. Serious pi , it's pizza!
Me again...I really need to pause B4 leaving ng a comment...I don't remember the street but on a street near the public market there is a nice map store(yes, more map PCs if intetested) and really near that store is a yummy bar/restaurant with yummy tacos & margaritas and decent happy hour...though it may not be kid friendly restaurant bar...can't remember.
Ps-im sending to you in the I've been there swap, I won't send Seattle, lol! Found interesting art PCs at Public Market, decent priced tourist PCs too. Of course other PCs along all the touristy things I did.
I've been to Seattle on vacation from Denver. I really liked the botanical gardens and the Space Needle. I also did a boat tour, aquarium & zoo. Had a great time. To eat I really like Serious Pie. Unique crust & toppings, at breakfast they have yummy biscuit & other things. I don't have kids so I'm not sure if it's the right restaurant for them...depends on their taste I guess. Of course people watching & shopping at the Public Market is fun. We did a day trip to Portland, wish we had more time but a stop in Powell's bookstore was great.
Your card was so beautiful! Thank you for it!
