June 5th 2021 Still in lockdown, only essential services open. I still might not sign up for swaps. It’s gardening season too. We live on a 3 acre wooded property so there’s lots to do and clean up after the winter. We had 5 trees come down.

My province has gone into lockdown and last time it really hindered mail delivery and the supply chain. Non Essential places are not open. Hopefully local places will have curbside delivery. So I might not sign up for swaps unless I have all things on hand. Stay safe everyone.😷

I will be celebrating a milestone birthday in lockdown. Happily married to the love of my life. Mother of 5. Nana to 10. Mama to 2 cats and 1 dog. Retired school teacher. Country living with in the city limits. Pronouns she, her.

I’m an oldies girl. Mostly music from the 60s and 70s. Folk, British Invasion, especially the Beatles.

Cook books, art books, decor books, garden books, craft books......

I love to knit, but arthritis has slowed me down. Getting into ATCs and altered art. I want to learn to make altered journals. I used to collect bits and bobs I’d find in my daily life but due to Covid that doesn’t happen anymore.

Thanks to the way I was brought up I tend to lean toward the “ Hippie” style in clothing and surroundings. Eco friendly, vegetarian, real flowers 💐, real plants 🪴, biodegradable stuff. Home made, pet friendly, smoke free. Dislike throw away fashion and mass produced things. I shop second hand and antique.

I like most colours but I dislike neon colours or shiny finishes. I like earth tones, jewel tones and some pastels. I love the blush colours. I dislike any thing Disney. I like classic Pooh and Alice in Wonderland I dislike anime and kawaii. I’m not a big fan of cartoon anything. I collect antique ephemera, pictures and clippings. Bits and pieces of lace, wool and fabric. Words and quotes in any language.

Since I’m a vegetarian bordering on vegan please don’t send me candies, chocolate or cookies. They will just be tossed. Sorry, Can’t tolerate scented anything. I have allergies.
