I'm 37 years old. I live in Poland. I'm married and I'm a mom to a 4 year old boy.
Taking care of my son takes up most of my time, but when I have a moment for myself, I enjoy:
reading
traveling
doing sports and fitness, I'm a Zumba addict and a huge fan of Jillian Michaels
volunteering in a few cultural organizations, e.g. The Museum of History of Polish Jews
getting to know more about fashion and history of art
watching movies
getting to know about India! It's been such a passion of mine in the recent months
penpaling nad swapping!
I don't listen much to music, it serves mainly as a background to what I do. Because of that I mainly choose instrumental and classical pieces from Spotify playlists.
I'm an avid reader! I read mostly contemporary novels and non-fiction. My favourite character ever is Scarlett O'Hara. The favourite book would be "The Hunger Games". The worst thing ever read? The trilogy about Fifty Shades.
My favourite show ever is "Friends", I could watch it over and over again! Besides, I'm a streaming platforms addict :-) Currently my favourite one is MUBI. The phrase "non obvious" will repeat itself along my description, but it's so true in many aspects of my interests. On MUBI you can find so many non-obvious MUBI gems that I sometimes wish I didn't need sleep.
Recently I've been so much into Indian movies, mostly in Tamil language. Dhanush is the love of my life ;-) I'll watch pretty much anything Indian, aside of romance.
I'm a collector of bookmarks - I get one anywhere I go
I'm also fond of tourist souvenirs - most of all, bookmarks and postcards, of course ;-) but I collect also anything else, fridge magnets, notepads, keychains, tote bags, calendars, stickers etc.
I used to collect hardcover notebooks with different themes. Theoretically I don't collect them anymore but it's difficult to resist if I see a cute one :-)
Currently I'm pursuing two projects:
1) An album with my son's quotes. I would have never thought two year olds could be such a source of wisdom and fun! For this, I'm on the hunt for anything childhood related - stamp images, stickers, washi tape, ribbons, anything really.
2) A travel scrapbooking album. I'm looking for any travel ephemera - maps, tickets, menus, leaflets, used stamps, business cards... Since I'm a beginner, I'd welcome anything that might come in handy - scrapbooking paper, cutouts, punchouts, stickers, ribbons, pieces of string, envelopes...
3) This is mostly an active pursuit of my dream of writing my own articles/books, but I'm doing my best to research and write a few ideas I have about India. These days I'll read anything that has to do with a local identity of different Indian provinces, local languages or multinational corporations in India.
I love paper: scrapbooking paper*, envelopes of all patterns, colors and sizes, memo sheets, stationary, notecards... You name it! I wish I had more space to store it all :) My favourite stationary themes are not obvious, as my favourite radio presenter would say ;) What I currently have the most use of is travel and childhood theme, but I also enjoy art, fashion and some unusual nature themes (two of my favourite sets are Antarctic and Amazon forest). I'm not really fond of flower patterns. Well "fond of" may not be the best expression, I just have tons of items with this pattern and not much use for them in my current projects.
I love exploring the world. I'd be very much interested in getting to know your area/country. I'm always in for some touristy stuff, as I mentioned in the "Collections" section, but not only - I'm very interested in anything you can find in your local tourist information center and in your favourite local food. You can always send me a sample of local candy or a recipe for your favourite local dish. No allergies, don't worry about that :)
As a mom of a small child, I'm a coffee addict ;) I'll always welcome a coffee sample (preferably with no sugar and milk, I prefer my coffee simply black). I'm also always curious to try non obvious tea flavours.
I also like socks and fun t-shirts. My sock size is EUR 37, the t-shirt size is S. All patterns are welcome. I don't mind the colour, as long as it's not pink or orange ;) I'm also not a fan of glitter and sequins.
I'm very interested in "Vogue", "Harper's Bazaar" and "National Geographic" editions from other countries, in any language.
As I said above, recently I've been very much into India, in any way. If you have any suggestions in terms of books to read, movies to watch
I don't have any allergies, I'm not a vegetarian, I don't have any specific food dislikes.
If you are to send me some food to taste, my only preference would be that the snacks are local, specific for your country, however, if it's not possible, I'd love to try your personal favourite for that category :)
