I am a wife, mother and grandmother. We now live in Georgia, but lived the majority of our lives in Alaska. I love spending time with my family, traveling, and crafting. I am retired from a very good career in government
I am first and foremost a crafter. An avid crocheter and quilter, I also work at many other crafts.
I enjoy crocheting dishcloths, afghans, scarfs, shawls, etc....things I don't have to put together. I also knit, but prefer to crochet.
I have done all kinds of painting...oils, acrylics, ceramics. tole. I haven't painted in several years, but would love to get back into it.
I keep buying things for scrapbooking and card making, but don't do much with it.
I made clothes for my girls when they were little, but never again. Now I enjoy quilting, especially things I can actually finish.... wall hangings, placemats, etc.
I loved doing counted cross stitch back in the day. It's rather hard to see now, but I am getting back into it. I do love wool applique and embroidery. I have embroidered blocks for my quilts.
I'm not adventurous with food, I love pizza, burgers, pasta, steak. I don't eat fish or mushrooms.
Dark chocolate is my love! Especially dark M&Ms, Dove and Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt Caramel Filling.
I drink hot tea (Chai or Russian) in the morning, Crystal Light or iced tea during the day and allow myself one Cherry Coke per day.
I collect anything with hearts. I have several walls with just hearts hung on them. I also collect snowmen and snowflakes. There is never enough craft supplies, fabric for quilts or yarn.
Blue is the very best color for anything. I also like pink, gray, and purple. No green.
No religious items. I really don't need your junk. I have way too much of my own.

I am impressed with your skill at crocheting. My Gram tried to teach me how to do it but it just was beyond my skills. We are in the Fall Potholder swap together, so I thought I'd read profiles before starting to make the one I will send off. I am more of a quilter so the one I make will be that style.
